The Dragoncraft's Flight Controller electronics is integrated with Nvidia Jetson Orin system-on-module running Robot Operating System (ROS2) with a software stack responsible for safe autonomous airspace operations. Dragoncraft comes with pre-installed Machine Vision pipeline for multiple object detection and tracking.
ROS2 Integration Setup
The ML flight autonomy system uses video streams from both drone cameras (embedded Head Cam and Bimbal Camera), inferencing 3D objects detection out of video and comparing in real time the 3D world detected with Cartographer terrain data. The 3D terrain data cloud is available for any location on Earth and could be pre-loaded onto a drone computer via Mission Dispatch app. This functionality enhances Dragoncraft's ability to navigate safely, even if the GPS signal is not available.
